Give Me a "T"! Give Me an "A"! What's That Spell?

We are going to China!!!
TA

For those of you not familiar with the China adoption world, T. A. is the coveted acronym that stands for Travel Approval.  Today Gary and I, along with our travel group, received our beautiful T.A.  Now we just need our appointment date at the U.S. Consulate in China and we will be able to buy our tickets and rush around finalizing the last minute details.  Between two and three weeks from now we will be on a plane headed towards our sweet Natalie.

How wonderful! Everything is going to speed up and go down hill after the long uphill wait you've had!

Fabulous! Are you planning on visiting the orphanage? Would love to send a photo or something with you for the Director and foster parents. Email me if you want to visit. I have a few suggestions that will help to make your visit go smoothly. Again, yippee another sister is coming home.

BTW (and sorry for the late reply) - you asked whether or not we felt like the SWI visit was good for our daughter. Honestly, no, not in the short term. To her, it was just confusing and emotional and a really long drive. But in the long term it was definitely worth it. This was only chance to visit and see the SWI as she knew it, her caregivers, her cribmates, etc. If it was feasible for just one of us to go and for the other to stay back in Nanchang with WanYing, that would have been ideal, but it just wasn't in the cards since we had the other 3 kiddos with us. Email me if you want to talk more about it - it's a big decision!

Oh my goodness!!! I am so happy for you! What do I need to do so that if you go to the orphanage you can possibly find our Renee and her foster mom. Sorry, I am being selfish with being happy for your soon to be traveling. I can't wait to follow your journey. Please take lots of pictures at the orphanage. You must be "over the moon" :)
