Happy Birthday Dear Katie!

We are too busy packing for China to have a big celebration, but Katie doesn't care.  She split a can of tuna fish with Louie in honor of her 5th birthday.  That's all it took to make our sweet birthday girl happy.DSC03598
Happy Birthday Our Dearest Katie!  We love you!

Dear Charity, My sister Kathleen(mother of Aubrey Mei Jing) told me about your blog and your journey to Natalie. I am so excited for you and Gary as you leave soon to bring your beautiful little girl home. Best of luck to all of you. What a lucky girl to be coming home to 2 newfs! We adopted our newf Bella Bear last year and just adore her. Aubrey Mei loved her too! Your babies will miss you but they will soon have a new baby sister to cuddle and love. They are like 2 big teddy bears! Safe travels and warm wishes. Sharon Cimino(mom of Lindsey and Emily and Clover the golden and Bella the newfie)

I am a lurker via chinaadoptionsites.

I hope you don't mind if I ask, but I was wondering if you could shed some light on your TA. I noticed that you received it so quickly. Any ideas how you got it so fast? Just trying to assess when we might expect ours.

Thank you....

P.S. Your dogs are stunning!

Sharon,
I've seen pics of Audrey with your beautiful Bella Newf. They are so cute together. I hope K&L and Natalie get along as well.

Glinda,
We were shocked to be leaving as soon as we are. We were told that China was closed the first week of October and that it would likely delay our TA and travel. Instead the opposite happened and we got it faster than we would have expected even if China hadn't been closed for that week.

Also we are still under the i171H (non-Hague) so that of course makes a huge difference. Are you Hague?

Yes, thankfully, I was not giving up that status if it took every last penny.

Can't wait to follow your journey.
