Our little caterpillar is emerging from her cocoon as a full fledged butterfly. These shots are all from last night. Some are a little blurry since she was moving around so much, but I still like the way they capture her beautiful spirit.

Adorable! I love how she seems to be transforming so quickly even in a few short days.
Okay, it could be Elspeth talking on the phone or trying to do a somersault. Like twins. Another sign that these "sisters" will have a connection.
These are awesome! Such a happy and curious little girl. She really is starting to come out of her shell. : )
Looks like a happy little girl. It's amazing how in a few days they are completely different. I guess that's what a lot of love does for them. Blessings
Absolutely precious! She is responding well to lots of love and attention....just as our little one did. Adoption is truly a amazing journey that you have to experience to truly understand.
I don't remember how I found your blog tonight but I have been reading your adoption posts for quite some time and I am thrilled for you and your beautiful little daughter. I will definitely be keeping up with her progress! Thanks so much for sharing this amazing story!
Can't wait to see pics of Nat with your furchildren!
She is a wonder!
How fortunate for you to see her smile and flourish in his new life. Welcome back
just beautiful!!!
I have followed your blog for quite some time as I, too, have Newfies. Words can't describe how incredible I think your pictures and updates have been since you've been in China. I have really enjoyed reading everything from the restaurants to the sight seeing you've done. Most importantly, the updates about the adoption! Huge congrats! She truly is beautiful, (I'm not just saying that), as she has the most incredible eyes. I'm not surprised she's opening up to you so quickly. Children are amazing, but I don't need to tell you that!
Enjoy and safe travels home. I'm hoping she likes BIG dogs!
She appears to be very happy and comfortable. Thank you for sharing. It looks like you had (for the most part) a good trip. Your daughter is beautiful, and seems to be bonding happily. I have been enjoying following along your journeys. As you may recall, we will travel later in 2012, maybe by summer, to go get our girl in China. Until then I will live vicariously..... ;) Take care, and enjoy this special time.
