We have started letting Louie off leash when we are in areas where there are no other dogs around. He is doing a great job of staying close to his pack. It's nice to be able to use all of that obedience training in the real world.

Fun Before the Storm
Katie, Louie, Gary and I went on a walk in the woods the day before we received several inches of snow. Stay tuned for scenes from our snowy walk this morning.

Insanely jealous that you were able to go on such a secluded hike. I wish I could let Marge off leash, but our trails, while quiet, are still too close to roads for comfort. One of the perils of living in the city, I guess!
